Countrol ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.

Data Collection

Countrol is designed with privacy at its core. We collect and process the following data:

• Consumption data: Your substance tracking entries (alcohol, smoking, and other substances) are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• Preferences: Your app settings and onboarding choices are stored locally on your device.

Data Storage

All your personal data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is securely synced through Apple's iCloud infrastructure, governed by Apple's own privacy policies. We do not operate any external servers that store your personal data.

Third-Party Services

Countrol does not share your personal data with any third-party services. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we use Apple's local notification system to send you reminders. These notifications are processed entirely on your device and are not sent through any external server.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by:

• Deleting individual entries within the app
• Uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored data
• Disabling iCloud sync to remove cloud-stored data

Children's Privacy

Countrol is not intended for use by children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
